Moraira is situated in a beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca. It lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between Javea and Calpe and its coastline extends for 8 kilometres with a selection of fine sandy beaches and the occasional rocky inlet. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both.

Moraira was Originally a small fishing village which is still functioning with it's own Fish market and port, and where the vineyards merge from the hills and surrounding mountains into the start of the village on the Mediterranean Coast. Many varied restaurants and bars available suiting all pockets and tastes, fantastic beaches ect!?

The beautiful small bay of Cala Abogat is situated midway between Moraira and Calpe and has a small sandy beach and two beach bars. Whilst most beach bars in the area only have a licence to operate from the 1st June to 31st October the Paulette Bar in Cala Abogat is open all year round.

It is safe for children to swim in the bay and it also has good snorkelling.

Villa Maria is a detached three bedroom villa, with it’s own private pool  situated within 250 metres of the beach and close to local amenities including shops and restaurants.

If you want a change of scenery the bays of Cala Baladrar and Cala Fustera are just a short walk along the scenic coastal path and both have pleasant beach bars.

The sandy beaches in this area have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, are well tended and very safe for family bathing.

For those of you who are a little more energetic the coastal path continues on to Timon (a 30 minute walk), where it is possible to hire catamarans and canoes and then on to Calpe (approximately 5 kilometres)

Calpe has two beautiful sandy beaches and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.

Other local leisure facilities include many golf courses, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and night-clubs for all ages.

 There are many good quality restaurants and bars to cater for all ages and tastes.
